2022 Land Rover Range Rover Prices, Reviews, and Pictures

Land Rover Range Rover was the original luxury off-road vehicle. It continues to provide a unique combination of performance and cutting-edge design, as well as modern technology. The biggest problems are the lack of third-row seats and a ride that is far from sporty.

Overview

The Land Rover Range Rover SUV is large and luxurious, well-equipped to handle rough terrain. The interior is spacious and can comfortably accommodate up to five people. All models come with genuine leather upholstery, chrome accents and wood trim. The base model has heated seats. Upper trims include power-reclining rear seats and massaging front seats. There is plenty of space in the Range Rover’s cargo area for equipment and camping gear. The long-wheelbase model has seven more cubic feet of cargo room. The BMW X7 and Cadillac Escalade are top contenders. They all offer better handling, but less off-road ability.

Trims and Pricing

There are seven Range Rover trim options: Standard, Westminster and P525 Westminster.

The Range Rover Autobiography trim is the most sought-after and we recommend it. We’ll tell you why.

Standard

The Standard Range Rover is priced at $93,350. It features the 355-horsepower 3.0-liter 6-cylinder engine, dual range four-wheel drive and an adaptive air suspension. 19-inch wheels are available, as well as LED headlights, leather upholstery, leather upholstery, heated front seats with 16-way power adjustment, tri-zone climate control, touchscreen infotainment, 13-speaker stereo system and a panoramic sunroof.

Westminster

The Westminster starts at $104,850. It features a 395-hp engine, 21-inch wheels, perforated Leather Upholstery, 20-way power-adjustable seats, four-zone climate, adjustable ambient lighting, and power-reclining back seats.

P525 Westminster

This Westminster trim is priced at $114,850 and features the same interior features of the standard Westminster, but it has a 518-hp V8 engine.

Autobiography

The Autobiography trim starts at $145,850 and includes the 5.0-liter V8 and unique 21-inch wheels, advanced hardware off-road, heated and cooled 24-way power adjustable massaging front seats, leather steering wheel, rear captain chairs, and a 29 speaker audio system.

This trim is highly recommended as the Range Rover’s V8 engine provides much better performance. The interior upgrades make it feel superior to the rest.

SV Autobiography Dynamic

The SV Autobiography Dynamic trim is available starting at $180,850. The 5.0-liter V8 engine produces 557 horsepower. It also comes with a sport-tuned suspension and a black-painted roof.

SV Autobiography Dynamic Black

The top-of the-line SV Autobiography dynamic Black trim is priced at $184,350 and includes 22-inch wheels, black brake calipers, dark exterior trim, and black interior trim.

SV Autobiography

The SV Autobiography trim is the most expensive at $212,350. This is due to the fact that it comes only in the long-wheelbase body style and the top engine option. This trim adds unique 21-inch wheels to the standard Autobiography, SV Autobiography exterior trim accents and 24-way power-adjustable rear seats with massage function. Refrigerated compartments are also available in the rear and front seating areas. A rear entertainment system, folding tray table, and upgraded Meridian audio system complete the trim.

Performance and Engine

The Range Rover offers a wide range of engines starting with the base model’s 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine rated at 355 horsepower. The Westminster trim is available with either the 395-hp 3.0-liter engine, or the optional 518-hp V8. The Autobiography trim has the same 518-hp engine. Range Rover SV Autobiography and Dynamic Black Editions have the most powerful engine, a 557-hp V8.

The Range Rover’s base engine is capable of accelerating on the highway or tackling steep hills off-road. Although the 3.0-liter engine has more power, it is not as powerful as the V8s. The Range Rover is extremely fast with either the 5.0-liter or the 3.0-liter engines. The Range Rover is faster than rivals like the BMW X7 or Mercedes-Benz GLS. They also have a wider range of engines and suspensions to make it more comfortable for daily driving. Cadillac Escalade also offers a diesel option to maximize efficiency and torque for towing.

Interior

Range Rover’s interior is luxurious with padded leather, aluminum and smooth wood trim. Passenger will find plenty of elbow and legroom, regardless of whether they are seated in the front or back. This upright design allows for plenty of headroom as well as a clear view through the windshield. Upper trims include walnut veneer trim and quilted and perforated leather. The cabin has a distinct feel that is different to European counterparts, which have more muted colors and sterile designs. The Range Rover offers 32 cubic feet of cargo space in the rear, which is plenty for camping gear and luggage.
